I’ve always loved plants since growing up in Florida where exotic vibrant tropicals grew with abundance.
In my youth, however, I took a more traditional path and pursued a degree in literature from Boston College. It wasn’t long after graduation, though, before I decided to pursue my true passion, landscape architecture, which combined my knowledge of plants and my interest in design. I graduated from the certificate program of Professional Studies in Landscape Design from George Washington University in 2000 and have been at it ever since.
In many of my design projects, I had the opportunity to design custom planters for numerous clients where I selected containers as well as appropriate plants for their property. I loved the challenge of finding the perfect plants, considering color, texture and habitat in which they thrived for each site, from one season to the next. This challenge is where the idea for Pristine Planters was born.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and when I’m out there in the world I’m always looking for inspiration in every unique landscape. I bring those ideas (and pictures) home so I can incorporate them into my next custom design.
Let my knowledge of plants and flowers, my experience in design, and my creative flair go to work to reflect your distinctive home and personality. My goal is to beautify your home, your community, one doorstep and sidewalk at a time.
